Savagery,
Death reaches out,
Brother against Brother,
Kin against kin,
The daily re-enactment of the first recorded murderous sin.
Who is he,
Who is she,
That raises a hand in fatal blow?
No face,
No gender,
No special quality to be death's tender as a dealer of strife and pain,
A wielder of the Hand of Cain.
